The details of the route and time are not yet known, but the last race of the year and the first of its kind in Xàbia will be full of surprises. What is certain is that it will maintain the basis and tradition of this event; go disguised

Organized by the Club Esportiu Llebeig de Xàbia, the Department of Sports and the Association of Merchants of Xàbia Historica, the first San Silvestre Perrestre de Xàbia will fill the streets with runners, music and a good atmosphere to say goodbye to 2023.

Registrations can be made through Somesport as soon as the details of the race are confirmed and the deadline opens.

But...don't those from La Terreta bark with Spanish things, and also from Madrid?

Home. We will not copy it if it is the San Silvestre of the Salamanca neighborhood. But I feel Vallecana, which is almost like a town, is more than beautiful.

      • Luca says:

Aboriginal, you don't know anything, he's from MADRID, whatever you imagine, but of course, you are like that, everything has to be twisted to make it from La Terreta, I didn't expect anything less.
        The next one, please.

Let's see, soul of a pitcher, don't you know what Valencia has going on with Alicante?
But if they are upset that you speak Valencian, they don't understand why someone from Alicante speaks in Valencian, nor do they, only the idiot independentists, go to Valencia one day to see the world and you will see it yourself, you piece of gañan with legs, piece of catech!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, it doesn't matter to you, no.

      • In Valencia????, ignorant!!!!! says:

In 1923, a Brazilian journalist named Cásper Líbero traveled to France on December 31 to attend a night race in Paris where the peculiarity was that all the participants carried torches. Seeing such a spectacle, 365 days later, Líbero decided to carry it out in his city, São Paulo, after assuming the direction of the sports newspaper Gazeta Esportiva.

The purpose of the race was to celebrate the farewell of the year, so it would take place on December 31 and end on January 1, then taking the name of San Silvestre. It had various distances along its route, although starting in 1991 it was set at 15 kilometers. Since its first edition, the end-of-year test gained greater acceptance until, in 1945, the journalist decided to transform it into an international race.

In Spain, the oldest San Silvestre is celebrated in Madrid, in the Vallecas neighborhood. The first edition was held in 1964. More than 200 editions are held in our country, but the custom reaches other Spanish-speaking places such as Costa Rica, Mexico, Argentina or Colombia.

        Hahahahaha, the one from TERRETA…HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
