Last Saturday, December 21, was the scheduled date for the inauguration of the wishing tree, an initiative of the Town hall Jávea, Rotary Club Jávea, Red Cross and Civil Protection in Jávea's neighbors would place ribbons with wishes written on a tree installed in the Plaza de la Iglesia. The aim is that the money that is collected from the tapes that have a symbolic price of one euro, is intended for food vouchers for needy families in Jávea. Because of the rains last week the opening ceremony has been moved to this Saturday December 28 to 12: 00 h.
The new opening date tree of wishes, coincides with the celebration of the Day of Solidarity in the Historic Center which will give a special sense even if it fits this event. Those who wish can purchase a tape in the office of the Red Cross Xàbia, in the Social Center and the Office Weekly Jávea, however the same day of the inauguration will also be able to buy the tapes in the Plaza de la Iglesia .
