The CD Gymnast Montgó Xàbia paid tribute to Elena López, gymnast component of the national team that was part of the group that won the title of world champions in the world last held in Kiev. That Spanish team took first place with an exercise maces. Elena López was also fourth at the Olympics in London.
The reception at the Miguel Buigues Pavilion Andres de Xàbia was spectacular by all components CD Montgó Xàbia. A tribute that remain framed within the Christmas gala conducted by the club.
After a fun and family festival, where the girls and boys of the club and the municipal school of CD Montgó performed with different dances, the world champion was presented to the public, receiving a warm and a great ovation.
