Fans of classical music have an appointment this week with orchestras cycle offered by the Department of Culture of Javea.
The Battaglia Ensemble will be in charge of opening this series of free concerts that will be offered at the St. Bartholomew's Church. Under the direction of Javier Carrau, who will also act as concertmaster of the group, La Battaglia will perform in the first part a selection of pieces by Händel, such as "It concluded in G Major", the arias of the opera"Julius Caesar" or of "Messiah".
In the second part the protagonist is Vivaldi, with a concerto for violin and orchestra, and arias as "Gelido Ogni Vena" or "I come to Voi". Soprano solo act with this string orchestra and key will be Elia Casanova.
The concert is at 22: 00 hours with free entrance until full capacity.
