Everything is ready to receive Xàbia, tomorrow, the Olympic torch of the tenth edition of the "minijocs" Marina Alta Dénia to be held in 24,25 and 26 days in May.
Prior to the celebration of this sporting event since the early 90 brings together more than a thousand children in the region, the torch will travel miniolímpica all participating populations.
The arrival of the purifying fire, symbol of the school Olympics, will be a party that will begin at 17:XNUMX p.m. with a parade of all the participating children from the athletics track that will run through the streets of the Historic Center until reaching the Town hall, where they will be received by the authorities.
There the torch will be given to the mayor, José ChulviAnd a manifesto will be read. Then there will be a snack for athletes.
The minijocs are held every two years, rotating in the towns that comprise it. As in previous editions Sports Basketball, Football, Futsal, Handball, Tennis, Athletics, Ball Valenciana, Karate, Badmiton, chess, swimming and gymnastics will be practiced. Xàbia will have a large delegation of participants.
