A great joy was reflected in the face of José Luis Martínez and Dani Maestre, when this last weekend, were proclaimed runners-up in the Copa del Rey Metromar of fishing. An event that took place in the Bay of Biscay, organized by the Real Club Marítimo de Santander.

The third place went to the boat "Txitxiro" from Getxo with 219,76 points. The xabiera boat managed to capture the fourth largest piece of 24 kilos.
The contest held in Santander was the second round of the National Circuit fishing. A comxicotetion that had two races in which the total catch amounted to a thousand kilos, all were donated to the food bank Cantabria.
The next test of this circuit will stage the Mediterranean Sea and will be the Catalan Cup, to be held in the Tarragona town of Cambrils.
