Jávea launches new project to promote employment to form in the hospitality sector

The departments of Town hall of Economic Development and the Treasury have launched an Employment Promotion plan together with private companies. This new project aims to train, free of charge, about 100 people, who will receive theoretical and practical training during the last quarter of 2013, in jobs in the tourism sector since it is the main economic sector of Jávea. The incentive that people who take this course will receive will be that after completing three months of internship, they will have the opportunity to be hired. This will be possible thanks to the "check" contract, an incentive also for the companies that hire them, since if they offer a contract of at least six months, the Jávea City Council will pay three months of social security. The mayor of the Treasury, Óscar Antón, Has said that the cost of this plan for a 100 people will about 9.500 euros from city coffers.

Those who take the course will have the option to receive theoretical and practical training will be coordinated by the Hemeroscopea Academy of Jávea and the Mediterranean business events and training will be conducted by professionals with a lot of prestige, living here retirees and They are collaborating with the project in a totally selfless way. As indicated the mayor of Economic Development, Juan Luis Cardona, all those who are registered in Jávea and registered as users of the CREAMA of this municipality. The process must be carried out as soon as possible since, starting on August 30, the interviews will begin at the Casa de la Cultura to start forming the list of students.

As noted by Ana Catalá, the coordinator of the theoretical training, the courses will begin in October until the month of December and the internships in companies will begin in January, when it is still low season, so it is a good time for both companies as for the "students", to learn and be well prepared for when the high season begins. As stated by the internship coordinator, Arline Francis, there are already more than ten companies that will collaborate with this new project and will welcome both bartenders, hotel rulers, waiters or waitresses, cooks or receptionists. All the students will learn in a theoretical way about all the positions, then it will be at the time of the practice where they will choose in which sector they are best directed.

Once the three months ended practices pupils and prepared, they may be engaged in any business sector, to which he will donate the grant by the City, three months of social security.
