Hospital Clínica Benidorm (HCB) has just signed an important collaboration contract with the company ACHMEA-Zilveren Kruis, the main insurer in the Netherlands that covers 5 millions of Dutch (30% market share).
With this signature, HCB offers total coverage to the 65% of policyholders in the Netherlands, being the reference hospital of the Dutch on the Costa Blanca. Patients can have medical coverage with total ease, without administrative procedures or additional costs.
To obtain this contract, the company ACHMEA-Zilveren Kruisse has carried out an audit, positively assessing the services of HCB, such as Radiotherapy, Nuclear Medicine or the facilities and technology of the hospital and its polyclinics, among which are in the Marina Alta, HCB Asistel Moraira y HCB Calpe International.
HCB works like a Dutch hospital in Spain
According to Ana Vasbinder, Director of International Relations at HCB and the Nederlands Team, "For all intents and purposes, HCB works like a Dutch hospital and, therefore, to be treated at HCB, the insured of the ACHMEA-Zilveren Kruis group only they need to present their insurance card and, in the cases established in their policy, present the prescription of their accredited Family doctor. "
This agreement is a sample of the effort made in recent years by HCB to get contracts with the main Dutch insurers.
In addition, from 2010, HCB has a contract with the VGZ group, with coverage for more than 4 million insured in the Netherlands. Also, since 2016 also has an agreement with Multizorg and from this same 2018 with the group DSW Zorgverzekeraar formed by three insurances: DSW, Stad Holland and In Twente and with the ASR group.
Nederlands Team
HCB continues to strengthen its Care for the Foreign Patient, being the only hospital in the Valencian Community with this coverage to Dutch patients. In addition, it has the Nederlands Team, a group of doctors, health workers, translators and administrative staff at the service of Dutch patients.
