Last Saturday the provincial phase of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation Championship was held. Club Deportivo Montgó-Xàbia participated at the basic level with the junior Isabella Barnes and the junior Irene Martínez.
Isabella was proclaimed provincial runner-up and Irene was third, although at the time of the tiebreak, Martinez dropped to fourth place. In the advanced level competed the fry Natalia Reyes And the children's team formed by Zayra Costa and Lucía Alessandro. Natalia managed to be provincial runner-up and the children's team ranked in the third place winning the bronze.
In the cadet category, the veterans of the club, Andrea Aranzazu, Alba Morell, Marta Ortuño, Nicole Witzard and Andrea Ortuño, Who competed at the 1 level, also proclaimed runners-up. With all these good results, the gymnasts of the CD Montgó-Xàbia were classified for the autonomic phase, that will be celebrated next weekend in Torrevieja and Sueca.
