In the absence of about four months for the Bonfires of San Juan, the Official Gazette of the Province has published the project contest for the selection of artists and the projects of official and children's bonfires.
This publication has become effective today, Monday, 26 February, after being approved the announcement of bidding in government meeting last 19 February, as indicated by the councilman Festival, Antonio Miragall.
Miragall has explained to Xàbia.com that although previously the commission of celebrations was based on different criteria to determine which companies would be in charge of carrying out the elaboration of the monument of bonfires, "This process shows even more guarantee of transparency and contracting."
The party councilor has said that it is an open process that can be chosen by all companies that want it, "There is a fixed price because companies have to present their projects within that budget and after the deadline for receiving applications, a jury formed by technicians and members of the party commission will assess which project meets all the requirements and will be the that will look at parties. "
The budget with which the contest comes is 32.450 euros for the Bonfire with the VAT included and 4.620 euros with the VAT of the 10% included for the Children's Campfire.
