A large part of Club Xàbia Bikers, with up to 18 runners, traveled to the province of Castellón to compete Classical Mediterranean Xtrem. One of the toughest stage comxicotetions nationally that ran by the terms of Castellón, Morella and Benicássim.
La Mediterranean Xtrem It consisted of two types of comxicotetion: Xtrem Bike composed of 3 stages, with a route of 340 Km and a little more than 8.000 meters of positive height difference and Pro Biker, of 2 stages with a route of 190 km and 4,620 meters of positive unevenness where it should be noted that in the Pro Biker modality Vicente Marzal and Josevi Marí achieved third overall team position. Meanwhile, Juanjo Noguera and Richard Latham obtained the second and third places respectively in the Master 50 Category.
In total there were 10 runners who participated in the Xtrem Bike and 8 runners in Pro Biker, where they were as follows:

Bad luck for Saucedo, Horcajada and Docampo
During the first stage, Pepe Saucedo had to leave due to physical problems once arrived at the last refreshment station. Juan Horcajada, with wise decision, chose not to compete during the second stage after a first hard stage marked by rains and even hail that appeared in the middle of the afternoon. Roberto Docampo had an accident during the second stage of which he had to be rescued and transported by ambulance although he could be able to finish the third and final stage.
