The idyllic Barraca cove, also known as Cala Portitxol, has dawned today with a new and unusual image. A graffiti on the facade of one of the old fishermen's houses that gives charm to this beach has spoiled the view of the first bathers who have arrived at the cove.
The graffiti, which represents nothing pretty, but only shows the signature of its author 'Nine', has caused great discomfort among visitors. Urban art has littered one of the most photographed areas of Xàbia and with it the famous blue door so well known on social networks. The steps leading to one of the oval doors also show graffiti by the author himself.
Today, the sharp image of white houses with blue doors has been tainted by modern art.
