The top ten ranking ISAF patterns are present in the Club Nautico de Javea contesting the Trophy Sir Thomas Liptón Match Race Sailing 2013.

The weather forecasts for the next days are; for today while the Round Robin (series of confrontations) 1 and 2 is disputed, Saturday quarters, semifinals and finals and Sunday final and third and fourth position, little wind is expected although it is possible that there may be a day with a maximum of 15 knots of intensity, but the tonic is little wind. For today and tomorrow the rain can make an appearance in the Bay of Xàbia.

Of the ten skippers present in the Marina Alta, six of them repeated in this edition: Keith Swinton from Australia (3); Danish Nicolai Sehested (8) and Joachim Aschenbrenner (21); Sergey Musikhin (26) of Russia; Mark Lees (46) in the UK and Spanish Dani Maestre (95), who achieved his best result in the appointment javiense since winning the Grade 2 ISAF.

Four new faces and one of them in the top ten of the ISAF, the Swabian Johnie Bertsson, occupying eighth place. Polish Marek Stanczyk is in the position twenty, while Finland's Antti Luhta and French Herreman Arthur occupy the post fifty-one and seventy one, respectively.
The javiense Dani Maestre again the great Spanish asset, in this edition is the only representative of our country, and hopes to improve achieved fifth place in the Trophy Sir Thomas Lipton 2012.
