For the next November 26, the Rotary Club Jávea He has organized a health talk about the history of human papillomavirus (HPV). Dr. Fernando Ruiz, gynecologist and member of the Rotary Club of Xàtiva will offer this talk in Xàbia in which he will expose the different aspects of this infection that is transmitted sexually.
Under the title 'Natural history of human papillomavirus infection' Dr. Ruiz will explain that this virus, which is the most common sexually transmitted infection that exists, is usually harmless but some types can cause genital warts or even cancer. There are some 200 types, and 40 of them can directly affect the sexual organs.
The talk of the Rotary Club of Jávea will be held in the Carrasco salons, at 20 hours, and attendees have the possibility to enjoy a later dinner, in which to discuss aspects of the talk with the rapporteur or learn about the projects that Rotary Club Jávea has underway, for the benefit of the Community.
