The sailor of the Optimist fleet of the Club Náutico Jávea, Mateo Carbonell left this Tuesday for Greece with the optimist national team to represent Spain in the European Championship that takes place in the Hellenic country.
Carbonell attends with Marta Ferrando (RCNV) representing the Valencian Community, together with Juan Bennssar, Nikko Palou and Martina Gomila (Balearic Islands), Iker Múgica and Anna Rentenría (Catalonia). With Kiko Igual from Team Leader and
Álvaro Martínez as coach.
The event will be held from July 15 to 22 in Tssaloniki, one of the largest cities in Greece that overlooks the Gulf of Tssaloniki in the north of the Aegean Sea and is located closest to Eastern Europe.
