This coming Friday, April 28, the Orfeón de Xàbia will offer its last concert, a farewell recital for both the entity and the one who has always been its director, Pepe Mayor.
The choral group will perform at 21:00 p.m. in the Church of St. Bartholomew interpreting one of the most emblematic pieces; The missa prima in honorem B.Bartholomeus which the Major himself composed. They will be accompanied on stage by the Teuladina Choir, the Ars Nova de Xàbia and the orchestra of the Xàbia Artistic Musical Center.
With this concert, the orfeón puts an end to an important stage of more than 40 years in which it has been more than present in the cultural and social life of Xàbia, with its Christmas concerts, zarzuelas, representing Xàbia in cultural meetings and also giving splendor to religious festivals such as the mass of the Nazarene or that of the Virgin of the Angels.
