El III Contest The pet contacontes of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell already has a winner and with him, story. Andrea Puig is the winning author of the story that gives life to the mascots of the Library of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell; the story The magician of Els Pous de l'Abiar, has as protagonists, Moy, Erin, Terry and Flexi.
The winner, who made herself known during the session Classic drinkers, last Saturday, in the Library. The prize was 200 euros in cash. The second prize went to Ana Gilabert Mayans for the story L'envejós of the Poble Nou de Benitatxell, with 100 euros.
The mascots are created through a drawing contest organized by the municipal library from El Poble Nou de Benitatxell at school. The students, in addition to drawing an original pet, must give it a funny name
to identify it. The winning drawing ends up turned into a stuffed toy that dynamizes the playful activities of the Library. For example, the mascots Erin, Moy, Terry and Flexi, winners of past editions, took part in
this type of days as well as the Escoleta de Nadal.
