Today the Councilor for Economic Development, Marta Bañuls, He wanted to thank the collaborating merchants for their participation in this job training project and take an interest in the feelings of the students, visiting them in the stores where they are training.
The mayor has shown her satisfaction to see the positive balance of this experience, since the young people, in addition to learning and feeling useful, have managed to regain interest in training and most have plans to continue studying.
This course, which has 15 students and has been offered for three years, is aimed at people under 21 years of age without prior academic qualification. It is therefore an opportunity to train for work but also to regain confidence, self-esteem and desire to re-engage in the training system.
And it is that, in addition to specific knowledge about commerce - such as merchandising, window dressing, promotions, box, warehouse, replacement, customer service, effective resolution of complaints and social networks - they also receive training in more generic subjects and receive support and job guidance.
