The chef Sergio Box from La Perla de Jávea, among the eight finalists of the Teulada Gastronomic Contest

Next Monday, September 3, starting at 09:30 a.m., at the Teulada Moraira Auditorium took place on I International Gastronomic Contest Moscatel de Alejandría Dolia / Muscatus organized by the Department of Tourism of the Town hall de Teulada and the Fundación Comunitat Valenciana Auditori Teulada Moraira.

A contest that was born with the aim of putting the Moscatel Alexandria grape in value, already has the eight finalists who will participate as chefs. Among them, two from Xàbia, Sergio Box del Restaurante La Perla de Jávea and Aron Menéndez, from The Beach House Bistro. The other selected participants are: Jon Gil from Restaurante Arentxondo de Galdácano; Chema Soler of La Gastro Madrid; Víctor Soriano from Namúa Gastronómic de Valencia; Juan Manuel Jiménez from La Taberna del Gourmet Alicante; Bruno Ruíz from Aticcook Bruno Ruíz Dénia and Álex Talavera from Restaurante Samar de Moraira.

This contest is open to the public who wants to get close to enjoy the cuisine, whose winner will receive 1.500 euros and the second, 800 euros. Plus a trophy made exclusively with Krion Porcelanosa Solid Surface by the sculptor Quico Torres.

The contest will be directed by chef Estrella Michelín Rafa Soler, of the Audrey's Calp restaurant, and will have an exceptional jury formed by 8 Michelin stars and 8 Soles Repsol in charge of tasting the culinary creations of the participants.

As president will act, Cuchita Lluch, former president of the Valencian Academy of Gastronomy and will be accompanied by Miguel Barrera Cal Paradís restaurant; Juanfra Valiente, Head of Creativity at Quique Dacosta Restaurant; Santiago Prieto dels Sents de Ontinyent; Dani Frías from La Ereta Alicante; Miguel Ángel Mayor of Sucede Valencia, Vicente Patiño from the Saiti restaurant in Valencia; Santos Ruíz, critic of Levante; the critic of Las Provincias, Pedro García Mocholí and Luís Valls, chef of the El Poblet restaurant in Valencia de Quique Dacosta.
