The 420 class sailors of the Club Náutico Jávea managed to climb to the top of the podium in the Magdalena trophy held this weekend at the Real Club Náutico de Castellón. They were the couples formed by Nando Puig and Kevin Lenis and in women, Arantza Reig and Lucy Crosbie.
Nando Puig and Kevin Lenis only gave up the lead in the race in two sleeves, it was precisely to their colleagues from Club Náutico Jávea, Lucy Crosbie and Arantza Reig, who were third overall.
In the boys' classification, the couple Ángel Poveda and Joel Ferrer was fourth, and in girls the one formed by the Baker sisters, Amelia and Elsepth were the third best of the entire trophy.

For its part, the optimist fleet reaped very good results in the Optiorange, held this weekend at the Real Club Náutico de Valencia.
Five sailors from the Jávea Yacht Club slipped into the Gold group, which groups the best classified, and Mateo Carbonell among the top 20 of an event that brought together more than 440 young sailors from Spain and from different parts of the world.
Mateo Carbonell was 19th overall, with a brilliant start the first two days, with three first places and one third.
