The Rowing Federation of the Valencian Community and the General Directorate of Sports of the Generalitat have formalized, this past Saturday, the transfer to the Club Nautico de Javea a fallutxo (a typical Valencian rowing boat).

The assignment will allow the Club Nautico de Javea have two boats for the practice of this sport that combines physical and mental strength and that for some years has been part of the Club's sports offer.

At the moment, sanitary conditions and restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic prevent the practice of any type of non-professional sport. Even so, every week more people are interested and come to the Club Náutico de Jávea to enjoy rowing, a sport that does not require any special physical condition and is suitable for all ages, from 12 years.

In fact, there are already more than 120 people with a federative license that make up the Rowing Section of the Club Náutico de Jávea, led by coach Tenín García.

The signing of the transfer was attended by the president of the Community Rowing Federation, Alejandro Ruiz, the general director of Sports, Josep Miquel Moya, the president of the Club Náutico de Jávea, Arturo Miquel and the Mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi.
