El Club Handbol Xàbia today involved with their children male and female teams "II Open Ciutat de Valencia"Handball beach. A comxicotetion to be held at the Las Arenas is one of three tournaments category 1000, the maximum, the national circuit.
In the Valencian event they will take part teams 60 senior categories, youth, cadet and child so they will be more than 700 players competing. In the senior category they will play teams 35, 27 being outside Valencia. Will be the top six men's national ranking and seven of the top eight women.
The tournament will start this afternoon, continue throughout the day tomorrow from 9 to 21 hours and conclude on Sunday morning with the dispute of the finals.
The xabiero team has high hopes of making a good tournament that will serve as a pre-test the child Spain Championship to be held in late July in Laredo.
