Boat "Clave de Luna"Skippered by José Luis Martínez won the first prize of the National Fishing Circuit sports-"Memorial José Ignacio Simó "Polillo", in the category of total weight with 158,9 kilos, thanks to the 17 pieces captured.
The second place went to the two-time world champion, the Catalan, Pascual Durá, current Spanish number one, while the third place went to the ship “Bergatí I”, by Mariano Soler. In the category of individual piece the winner was Juan Ferrer in command of the boat "Mar d'Ilusió", with a 13,7 kilos albacore.
The 29 participants in this first race of the National Sport Fishing Circuit, enjoyed from the very beginning of the comxicotetion a wonderful fishing day. At the start of the comxicotetion there were light winds. The wind was raging as the day progressed and ended up being about 15 knots. High temperature and good sea state caused that could see a big test ..
In the 18 hours we proceeded to the official weigh-in catches, which highlighted the almost 159 kilos of pieces caught by the team led by José Luis Martínez.
At dinner where trophies were awarded were present the mayor, José Chulvi who accompanied the new sports council, Vicent Colomer y Antonio Miragall, Mayor of Finance and parties.
The trophies awarded are works of the prestigious local artist, Tony Mari.
