El Javea Town Hall has opened the contract for the drafting of the project to improve the services of the Les Mesquides sports complex, which houses a soccer field and paddle tennis courts. It is about the demolition of an existing building to rebuild it again, converted into a changing room area, a coworking space for clubs and a small cafeteria.
In addition, what will be the third municipal paddle court will be installed, the evacuation of rainwater will be improved and its universal accessibility will be guaranteed. The specifications that will govern this contract have already been approved by decree of the mayor and will go out to tender with a budget of 56.503,22 euros (VAT included).
Councilor for Sports, Alberto Tur, has indicated that with this project, the Consistory continues to invest in the improvement of the sports infrastructures of the municipality. After interventions in the municipal soccer field, the Freginal field or the Trinquet, it will now be invested in Les Mesquides, a complex that had its last major renovation ten years ago when artificial grass was installed.
