The local trade of the entire region will be the protagonist in Xàbia on May 28. Jaume I avenue in Duanes de la Mar will host the II Regional Stock Fair with a total of 40 seats. Shops in Xàbia and other towns in the Marina Alta (Pego, Gata, Pedreguer, Ondara, Benissa, Teulada and Dénia), will offer their products from 10:00 a.m. to 20:00 p.m.
Men's and women's fashion, children's, sports, footwear, jewelry and cosmetics are some of the commercial proposals that attendees will find at the best price. In addition, there will be music setting the fair and a children's area where the little ones can carry out workshops. The hours of this area will be from 11:30 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. and from 17:00 p.m. to 20:00 p.m.
The Councilor for Economic Development, Marta Bañuls, and the president of the Xàbia Port Association, Cande Ros, today presented this event that values the union of the region and with which it is intended to deseasonalize tourism and provide a more leisure offer to the town.
Bañuls has outlined that this fair will be held annually and will be itinerant with each edition occupying a different urban center. For next year it is planned to be held in the Arenal Beach between late April and early May. For this occasion, the mayor hopes to have a greater number of merchants.
For her part, the president of Xàbia Port has thanked the mayor for the fact that this edition has been held in the Duanes de la Mar area. Likewise, Ros has encouraged merchants to take advantage of this opportunity "since it is a very positive fair".
