The streets of Pedreguer witnessed the double triumph achieved by athletes from Llebeig Athletics Club Xàbia. In men, José Manuel García was the winner with a time of 34: 00. A victory that, in addition, supposes its triumph in the Circuit a Peu Marina Alta, in the absence of holding the last two tests. The athlete xabiero entered alone in goal with an advantage of 28 seconds over the second classified, Andres Bella. The third place went to Juan Gimeno.
The great celebration mounted by the Cametes Pedreguer Athletics Club that celebrated its Silver Anniversary of the Popular Race was joined by the victory in women of Mª Isabel Ferrer, which was the best with an 38 brand: 50. Ferrer was reunited with the victory after two tests and he did it with a great advantage over the second classified, Lioba González and the third, Andrea Abad. The other representative of the club xabiero that rose to the podium was Victor Fernandez who was the best in the category of Veterans B.
Among the great representation of Xabieros athletes who were participating in Pedreguer's career, they stood out; Toni Soler who was fifth in the senior category. Juan Andrés Esteve who finished in the 23 position among the seniors, Moha Younes who was 27º in seniors. Eva Escortell who was fifth in seniors and Mª Luisa Martín which was sixth in Veterans E. To them it adds Cristina Roselló that defends the colors of Club Multiesport Benitatxell who it was third in senior.
In the lower categories stood out, Marco Garcia who was the winner in Prebenjamines and the second place achieved pro Carme Espinós, Jesús Benavent in alevines, Zaira Fornes and Joan Espinós in Barrufets and Carlos González in Benjamín. In the third box of the podium they went up, María Devesa in Barrufets, Marina Espinós in cadets and Iván Gómez in Prebenjamines.
