Immersed in the celebrations in honor of its patron Saint Cecilia and in commemoration of its 50th anniversary, the Jávea Musical Artistic Center faces one of the most important and endearing acts marked in its annual agenda and which will take place next weekend.
This is the collection of new musicians who, from this year, will officially become part of the music band. They are: Isabel Català Arbona (oboe), María Colomer Buigues (tuba), Antonio Martínez López (piano), Marina Espinós Vallés (flute), Minerva Miralles Segarra (clarinet), Teresa Fornés Torres (violoncello), Juan Moragues Ferrer (horn) ), Vicente Ahuir Buigues (trombone), Jaume Climent Fornés (trumpet) and Laura Buigues Castilla (clarinet).
The pasacalle to collect them will be this Saturday November 15 from the 18h pm. The parade will tour the main streets of the Historic Center and will also feature the presence of two exceptional protagonists: the Muse of the band during this exercise, Neus Buigues, and the image of Santa Cecilia itself that will accompany the celebration. The tour will end at St. Bartholomew's Church where, the 20h will start the Eucharist in honor of the patron saint.
Continuing the program of events for Santa Cecilia this Sunday November 16, in the morning, the 12h; the youngest of the musical formation, the members of the Youth Band, will offer a music concert at the Jávea Conservatory.
