The sports event lived at the Jávea Tennis Club during the afternoon of yesterday Thursday was special. Tennis fans lived a unique moment, being photographed with the 'Salad Bowl', the Davis Cup and rallying with the captain of the Spanish Davis Cup team, David Ferrer. This clinic took place on the central court of the sports facilities of the Jávea Tennis Club which bears the name of the tennis player from Xàbia.
Moments before the sporting event, David Ferrer presented the 2023 Davis Cup that will be played in Valencia from September 12 to 17 at the Font de Sant Lluís and spoke about what it will mean for Spain to face great teams.
Ferrer pointed out that Spain will face Serbia, the Czech Republic and South Korea, "it will be a tough group, because the doubles format that we have counts a lot and in the end with a good player there you can practically reach a final".
The tennis player from Xàbia spoke of the strongest rival, Serbia with Novak Djokovic and the number 2 in front. And it is that, if everything goes smoothly, the fans will be able to see Carlos Alcaraz against Novak Djokovic, without a doubt, an incentive not to miss this appointment.
