Dani Cepa leads in Master 40 at the 'Superprestigio MTB Biontech' in Estella

This weekend has been held, in the town of Estella-Lizarra (Navarra), the fourth and final scoring of this international event (UCI C2), the Superprestigio MTB Biontech, where the best bikers of the national and international scene.

The local cycling club prepared a route of almost five kilometers and two hundred meters of positive height gain. The layout that gave no respite, neither in the physical section nor in the technical, due to its varied terrain with areas of stones, forest and loose soil, turned it into a circuit in which any mistake is paid dearly.

In the first race race, several cyclists from Xàbia's Bike-Fasterwear took the start in the Master 40 category, runners Dani Cepa, who started as leader, and Álex Seguí. Dani knew how to keep his mind cold and not risk more than the account to finish in third position that was worth to win the overall championship. Meanwhile, Àlex managed to be seventh in the finish line and thus climb up to fourth place in the final overall.

In the race of the Elite / Sub23 the Moll brothers disputed and Tomás Miralles. Ade was facing the best bikers national and international, getting finished in eleventh position and fifth in the final general. Worse fortune Saoro and Tomás had to retire in half test due to physical problems.

In addition, in Castalla (Alicante) the Autonomic Championship was held in the modality of road, where our Alevines, David Ivars and Miguel Sifre were present. Both managed to enter the finish line a few seconds behind the first classified, being fifth and sixth respectively.

Next weekend, the team will organize and play the BTT-XCO Autonomic Championship in Fontilles (La Vall de Laguar), where a large influx of bikers and public.
