The streak of good play and results continues for the men's junior team, trained by Oscar Butler, which on this occasion beat the Berenguer Dalmau team (53-68) on the Catarroja track.
With this victory, fourth in a row at the start of the 2ª round of the comxicotetion, the Joventut take hold on fourth place in the standings, with a great balance of 10 5 victories defeats.

The party was supposed complicated by the zonal system employing the Valencia set. But this time Xàbia had learned the lesson well and thanks to their dominance on the rebound, fast transitions and two triples, managed to breach the result (8-16). However several defensive dawdle at the last minute allowed local bridge the gap until a misleading 14-16 the end of the first quarter.

Joventut players understood that with a little more concentration and safer ball control, could break the game, and that seemed to occur after a partial 4-14 in the first five minutes of the period. But it was a mirage, and the boys Oscar played the rest of the period the worst minutes of this season with an incredible and exasperating lack of attitude, translated into constant turnovers, slackness in defense and precipitation, allowing the whole Berenguer reach the break with options in the game (27-34).

After passing through the dressing room and the corresponding anger to his players, Oscar's team immediately changed the face. With a very aggressive defense, led by Juanma, the joventut got their opponent was 7 minutes without putting a single basket. Those of Xàbia managed to break the match, with very positive feelings. At the end of the quarter, the result was 35-51.

At the beginning of the last period the slogan was clear, win the match by more than 11 points. This was achieved despite a last effort of the local team, which despite this could never get below the 10 points of difference. At the end of the game the result of 53-68 made it clear that the team of Xàbia is very superior and is much more worked in their style of play.
