Cristina Roselló female finished fourth overall in the Half Ironman de Oliva

The javiense triathlete, Cristina Roselló had a great debut in a new test for her, the Half Ironman. This test took place in Oliva and Roselló obtained the fourth place in the overall female general classification, being the first of its category, G25-29.

The javiense crossed the line with a total time of 5 hours, minutes 10 18 20 seconds to minutes of the winner, Ana Revilla marking a record 4: 49: 51. The second place went to Ana Belén Faus at 5: 07 and third, Inge Van den Broeck to 18: 51 of the winner.

Triathlete of the Swedish Triathlon Club, performed the first swim segment on 1.900 meters in a time of 34: 23 which was the third best time. A hard test in which the jellyfish were protagonists.

After a rapid transition he faced the cyclist segment on 90 Km, in a circuit of 45 Km., Which took two laps. Here he made a great effort and this allowed him to finish with the second best part of 2: 39: 54, although he ended up with very painful legs.

In the last race segment on a demanding circuit of 7 Km., Which was given 3 laps to complete the 21 Km., The effort took its toll. One kilometer in the sand on the beach became a real hell for everyone. Cristina Roselló scored the sixth fastest time with a partial 1: 52: 15

The javiense held third place until the last lap was overtaken by a triathlete, entering the fourth place overall and first in its class. A very rewarding experience for Cristina, who felt very happy and proud of the result. A position that is the result of perseverance and daily work done by Cristina Roselló in every workout.
