The athlete, Cristina Roselló, conquered the title of champion of Spain by teams, of Duathlon half distances by clubs, next to his companions of the Triathlon Club Clavería de Mostolés. Best debut could not have the xabiera with her teammates, Ana Caleya and Sonia Lopez. Roselló was the best of the team to enter the seventh place, while the other two components went into the eighth and ninth places respectively.
On an individual level, the assessment that Cristina Roselló made after finishing the test was not being as happy as she expected and is that during the race she made mistakes that prevented her from being higher in the standings.
The test was not developed under the best weather conditions, in fact, in the first segment the athletes had a circuit in the Palm Grove area with lots of mud. Roselló was in the leading group, although with a too high pace, which he later had to control. It did not end with good feelings this first part of the test, his time was 1: 08,30 in covering the 16.800 meters, his average was 4: 04 per kilometer.
He entered the box with the canvas completely wet to catch the bike and face the 66 kilometers of the cycling segment. When he got on his bicycle, the sensations improved, although he had many difficulties eating and drinking. The circuit an authentic breaks legs with continuous ups and downs did not help much.
From the 30 kilometer his sensations improved a lot and he managed to overtake some participants despite the rain. His time in this segment was 2: 02.04, he marked an average of 31,7 km / hour.
Serious mistake in the last segment

He started with a good pace until he made a serious mistake, he got the wrong lane, he went to the finish line and this cost him having to go back and walk 100 more meters. An error that cost him a place in the classification, his time in this segment was 31,56.
It ended with a total test time of 3: 43.59, in the seventh place in Elite, which left an assessment for the xabiera of a certain bittersweet taste, since by teams she was champion of Spain and in individual she expected a better position.
The feminine podium of this test was headed by Helena Herrero with a total time of 3: 33.00, followed by Claudia Montagud, who marked a record of 3: 34.46 and the third place was for Leonor Font with a mark of 3: 35.06.
