The gymnasts of the Alevín Group of Club Gimnàstica Rhythmic Xàbia they had a good performance in the National Base Championship of Sets and Spanish Cup of Sets, which served them to finish occupying the 26º position.
The comxicotetion was held at the Technification Center, pavilion Pedro Ferrandiz from Alicante. The best clubs in Spain competed there, demonstrating the high level of Spain in this sport.
The young xabieras, who came out on the carpet in the morning, were happy and satisfied with the exercise. In the morning session a total of 49 groups participated and the girls of Xàbia finished occupying the 15º position.
The remaining 34 teams participated in the afternoon session and the final classification at the end of the complete pass for the Xàbia Gymnastic Club was 26º. A very satisfactory result considering that a total of 72 sets participated in this appointment.
The final triumph was for the Valencian Club Chamara with a total score of 12,400. The second classified was the CG Almussafes with an 12,300 score and the podium was completed with the third position of the CGRD San Fernando de Madrid with 12,050. The xabieras obtained 9,950 points with their exercise.
