The tradition of bathing every January 1 is still active in Xàbia. This original way to start the new year brings together more people every year. On this occasion, hundreds of people have come to the Arenal Beach to celebrate the beginning of the year in a fresh way.
With a swimsuit or even a costume, residents of Xàbia and residents, of all ages, have entered the water and have had fun with the bath organized by the owners of Lancashire Bruja and for solidarity purposes.
Minutes before the starting signal to carry out the solidarity bath, the elves have walked along the Arenal promenade trying to raise the maximum amount of money. And it is that the collection of this 2023, still pending to be recounted, will go to Red Cross Xàbia and people with dementia or Alzheimer's.
