Face and cross for the juvenile and infant of the CB Joventut Xàbia

The last league day left us with different luck for the juvenile and children's teams of the CB Joventut Xàbia. While the fry played a great game and beat CB Ondara (58-44) at home, the children lost to the same opponent by 21-43.

The fry of the xabiero club staged a great game on the morning of last Sunday in the pavilion of Xàbia. The meeting was complicated since in the last confrontation, the locals had managed to defeat the Ondara team by only two points and after many problems.

The start of the match was exactly the same as the previous one between the two teams. A team, the local, that came out plugged in and took the first advantages on the scoreboard thanks to the speed it printed on its actions, and a visiting team that gradually managed to get into the game partly because of the forced rest of the players more important premises.

The difference in the score was 12 points at rest, which could be some more, if the third quarter had not been lost by a partial of 5-8.

With the game to be decided, the home team continued with the same tone after the break, and was not surprised thanks, this time, to ensure the defensive rebound. With the game already sentenced, the visiting team managed to make up the result thanks to individual actions of its player number 15.

Next Saturday, the team travels to Pego, to play the third day of the league, and that should serve to strengthen the leadership.

Defeat for the Infant

The game began with a small exchange of baskets favorable to the visiting team determined at all times by the difference in height and by another factor that the young greenish players failed to improve much during the match, the defense.

Finally, the visiting team responded in the same way with a partial of 0-8 closing the second league game for young children of Joventut Xàbia. The match ended 21-42.

Highlight in the first place the attitude and effort of the whole team that despite the significant losses knew how to face and leave everything on the track. Second, note the debut of Reef and Joan, two new players who are going to help the team a lot and become part of this great family.
