Benitatxell launches an 'App' to make reservations for sports facilities or previous appointments

09 September 2020 - 15: 44

El Town hall of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell is modernized. In recent months, the IT department has been working on some technological improvements that make it possible to speed up the day-to-day of the public administration and improve citizen service.

Among them the App 'ReservaPlay', in which the user can register to reserve both the racquet sports courts (paddle, tennis, fronton and squash) as well as the municipal swimming pool or the Valencian ball trinquete. In it, you can choose the sport you want and the schedule, which is from Monday to Sunday, from 8:30 a.m. to 22:00 p.m.

Likewise, the 'Benitatxell Incidences' App has been improved to make it more practical. It will include new sections such as information on the pharmacy on call or a citizen mailbox for suggestions or opinions. Soon it will be operational again.

Another novelty is the 'Previous Appointment' service that has been established on the municipal website. In order to comply with the regulations on capacity and social distancing due to Covid-19, you can book an appointment with the different departments and areas of the city council, including the mayor and councillors, registration, urban planning, cadastral information point, Suma , magistrate's court, civil registration and consultations on environment and landscape.

A biometric signature system has also been implemented, which offers the possibility for users to sign documentation digitally, without the need to manually sign on paper. This is a more sustainable and productive method, since it saves paper and speeds up procedures by avoiding scanning.

Finally, to improve communication with citizens, dissemination channels such as Telegram, a weekly Newsletter or a WhatsApp broadcast list have been strengthened, apart from social networks such as Facebook and Instagram.

“We live in a time of constant transformation. Technological advances evolve at a dizzying rate, and those who do not adapt to them are left behind. For this reason, from the city council we have put ourselves to work with these new measures that help to improve and streamline the day to day, both of residents and users as well as public workers ", has pointed out the councilor for Digital Innovation, Víctor Bisquert.
