On the occasion of November 25, International Day Against Gender Violence, The Department of Servicios Sociales of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell has prepared a program of commemorative activities.
The day will begin at eight in the morning with the hanging of several white sheets with violet bows, a symbol of feminist struggle, on the balconies of some houses in the town as a sign of solidarity with this social problem.
"The most interesting of this activity is having a major impact as it goes out and reaches many people. These sheets with purple ties the students of CEIP Santa María Magdalena with what, at the same time transversely values to educate children of the municipality made"Said Jacinta Pastor, Councilor for Social Services.
