The sports courses of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell have celebrated their end of course. The event was attended by all the children who have been part of the swimming, tennis, paddle, karate, athletics, soccer and rhythmic gymnastics classes. The students enjoyed doing exhibitions and water games.
The festive day ended with the delivery of medals by the Councilor for Sports, Manolo Segarra, to all the children who have participated in the different sports that come into comxicotetion.
Summer school
Although this course has been completed, the registration fees for the Summer Sports School that are also offered by the Department of Sports are open. An activity that will be developed in the facilities of La Font under the motto Viu l'esport a l'estiu. The children enrolled will practice daily, tennis, paddle tennis, pilota valenciana, swimming and also have fun with water games, traditional and aerobic dances.
The activity will run until the end of August and there are still places available for those who are interested. Segarra has indicated that "This year has been unbeatable for the Sports School, we continue to increase the number of enrollments, we have achieved excellent results in the CEMA comxicotetions and we equip the registered boys and girls with the official tracksuits 153".
