Once again the signing of the collaboration agreement between the Javea Town Hall and the Red Cross entity. In this case, the consistory contributes 225.000 euros to contribute to the operation and activities that the organization realizes in the municipality.
To the signature have been present the mayor, José Chulvi, the president of the local Red Cross assembly, José Luis Doménech, the local technical director, Maica Aranda, and the councilor for Servicios Sociales, Pepa Gisbert.
Likewise, this agreement guarantees the urgent medical transport and the assistance of relief. Also those actions aimed at "The improvement of living conditions and situations of vulnerability that may affect the population".
In addition, the Red Cross not only provides an important assistance to individuals who require it individually, but actively participates in different campaigns of collective importance: relief and prevention in emergencies, assistance in public events such as parties and sports events, charity campaigns and of blood donation, etc.
Support to the Red Cross
At present, Red Cross has 1115 partners registered in Xàbia and more than 100 volunteers.
