For his part, Berenguer has highlighted the great curriculum with which the artists of this edition have. "The first day, 4 August, there will be a double session. Two concerts in which the renowned saxophonist from Chicago, Frank Catalano, who has played with musicians such as guitarist Santana or jazz figures such as Randy Brecker, Louie Bellson, Miles Davis, Betty Carter, Tito Puente or Tony Benett, will perform ", said the artistic director and added that this musician is known for his vigorous and eloquent jazz.

In the second part of the program of the first day, the stage will be taken by Ximo Tébar Band, led by the renowned Valencian guitarist and who present their work Alma & United, recorded between Valencia and New York and which is a result of his research work on the fusion of Mediterranean music with jazz and recreates standards of Shorter, Gillespie, Ellington, Desmond, Mingus or Monk.

El Sunday 5 it will be the turn of the BVR Flamenco Big Band, the band that fuses flamenco and jazz. Las Palmas, the flamenco cajón or the guitar will be assembled with the most typical instruments of jazz, all accompanied by the dances of Karen Lugo, a Mexican dancer awarded with several international awards, both dance and choreography and who has acted in the film Flamenco Flamenco, by Carlos Saura and as the prima ballerina of the show The goblin and the clock.

The closing of the Festival, which will be the Monday August 6, will be in charge of the French singer Cyrille Aimeé, one of the most important voices of the current jazz scene. In love with gypsy jazz is a reference for its mix of Caribbean rhythms, French melodies and vocal jazz.

The first mayor xabiero has expressed the great acceptance that this festival has year after year, "Each edition surprises us. It began 18 years ago as one of the pioneer festivals in the region with a different commitment and comes of age as a reference for the cultural offer of the region and perhaps of the Community".

Chulvi has pointed out the great work done by the director of the contest, "Kiko's dedication makes this festival even more special."

At the signing of the agreement between the Diputación and Town hall, the vice president and deputy for Tourism Promotion, Eduardo Dolón, has indicated that "In the last six years the Diputación has allocated close to 90.000 euros. It is one of the most important Jazz festivals of the Valencian Community and one of the strategic events that has the support of the Board of Trustees for its impact on tourism in our province ".
