27 September 2013 - 00: 00

The young man Antonio Molina, born in Jávea just over 22 years ago, has made one of his greatest dreams possible, being a professional cyclist. Caja Rural has decided that Molina will move from his amateur team to the professional team. The contract is for two years.
A contract earned, no one has ever given him anything, it has achieved on its own and with much effort and work merits.

Since very little is passionate about the cyclist world, it is not surprising if you consider that your family is linked to it for many decades. It is one of the sponsors of Club Ciclista Jávea.

Molina played in the ranks of the Jávea Cycling Club until 2008, as a young man, joined the ranks of the Eleval, a Valencian team. There he remained two seasons, signing as a Sub 23 runner for the set, Asfaltos Guerola.

In the 2011 season he joined Caja Rural team, getting great results. In the 2012 season, he won in Urduliz, being second in Gernika.

This season 2013 Vuelta winner proclaimed Navarra, being selected to compete with Spain in the Nations Cup held in Canada.

We've talked to him and he tells us how he got the news, " I'm super happy it was my dream. It's something very big and I've thought of all my family, who have always been by my side, without them this would not have been possible".

In the absence of a comxicotetion to close this season, he is clear about his goal for the next one, " I learn, I will to give me orders from my managers and I hope to make a good campaign. Is proud to be part of this team of professionals is the only one amateur team".
