The cyclist, Adelino Moll, revalidated the title of regional champion in the modality of Bike Marathon. The cyclist of the Xàbiasbike-fasterwear team was the first to cross the finish line. His total registration was 3 hours and 2 minutes. Adelino maintained a beautiful duel with the second classified throughout the test.
The test was held in the Valencian town of Villalonga, organized by the Lloberos Cycling Club, which prepared a route of sixty-two kilometers and almost two thousand meters of positive elevation gain. The circuit circulated around Ador, Castellonet, the mythical "3 marias", The via vede of the river Serpis, the Crown and the Maro.
The route had not excessively long but demanding and explosive climbs, along with downhill trails that required great technical skill due to rain, which was present the day before the test, and left the ground slippery. Luckily, on Sunday the sun shone and the bikers enjoyed a magnificent morning.
Another of the featured cyclists of this team was, Moll Saor, who finished ninth in the elite category, culminating a great career.
Bronze medal for Alicia Margalejo
In Féminas, Alicia Margalejo gave chase to the second ranked just step by goal, starring in sprint of the day and taking the bronze medal in Elite Women.
In the Máster40 category, Dani Cepa and Àlex Seguí knew how to measure their forces to maintain a constant rhythm during the whole race and finish in ninth and fourteenth positions respectively.
The next appointment will be in the Catalunya Bike Race of category XCS 2, where the current regional champion, Ade Moll, will be present the last weekend of September in Puigcerdà.
