This weekend was held in the town of Agost (Alicante), the penultimate scoring event of the Open BTT-XCO of Valencia, where the team Xabia's Bike-Fasterwear was present.
The Club Ciclista de Agost renewed the course of other years, making it shorter and, therefore, more accessible and visible to the attending public. The circuit, of five and a half kilometers, characterized by a dry and loose terrain, with flights of stairs, jumps and slides left the bikers satisfied.
In the premier class, Adelino Moll he took the victory after maintaining a nice fight with the second classified, which got the advantage, which allowed him to win, in the closing stages of the race. Moll Saor He had a great start to the race, placing himself in third position but mechanical problems relegated him to the eighth final place. In the Sub23 category, Tomás Miralles He knew how to regulate his strength by finishing fourth.
In the first race manga, the 40 Masters, Dani Cepa and Álex Seguí, they were on the starting grid. Álex maintained a constant rhythm that allowed him to be ninth in goal. Dani had worse fortune, breaking the chain of the bike, losing up to nine minutes. However, he was able to finish the race in eighteenth position and maintain the shirt yellow leader.
David Ivars took the podium in Schools
In Schools, the children enjoyed a mountain bike tour getting good results. In Alevínes, David Ivars climbed to third place on the podium and Miguel Sifre was fifth. In Infantiles, Dani Cepa Jr finished in fourth place and Andreu Aibar finished sixth.
In addition, María Ivars and Danielis Kaseta traveled to Benissa to participate in the CEMA BTT School League, where both won the victory in their respective categories.
Next weekend, the Xabia's Bike – Fasterwear team will travel to the municipality of Villar del Arzobispo (Valencia) to play the final test of the Open BTT-XCO of Valencia.
