Between the days 29 of September and 1 of October was disputed in Bellver de Cerdanya and La Molina, the race UCI S2 denominated Catalunya Bike Race. A test that consisted of three stages with a total of 134 kilometers with a positive slope of 4000 meters. The cyclists of the Xàbia's Bike team traveled to Cerdanya-I visauto, Adelino Moll y Alicia Margalejo with the aim of getting the precious UCI points.
Both cyclists got their purpose, since after three days of hard comxicotetion, Adelino Moll ended up being 15 of the élite classification and Alicia Margalejo was 23ª in the classification Elite feminine.
The start of the comxicotetion was a prologue stage that consisted of 42 km with departure and arrival in Bellver de Cerdanya. It was a test with a very demanding and technical route, especially in the final part. Adelino Moll occupied the 19º position while Alicia entered the 22ª position, in their respective categories.
The next day was disputed the queen stage of 64 km characterized by the accumulated gradient. It was a very hard race with the appearance of the rain that caught the cyclist Xabiera, Alicia Margalejo during much of its race. Margalejo made an important effort finishing in the position 25. While Adelino Moll was able to catch the good head train and always remained in front positions finishing in the 17º position of the stage.
On Sunday, and from the ski resort of La Molina, the last short and intense stage of 28 km was celebrated, where a first trail full of mud and roots and, after a constant climb of more than 10 km made the two representatives Xàbia's Bike-Visauto were squeezed to the maximum to end by one of the most famous descents of the bike Park until goal. Adelino did not want to risk and finished 19º and Alicia was 23ª.
