Technical data and route layout

The green line in the image indicates where the itinerary runs. If you want, consult it in the Cartographic Institute Valencià cartography viewer.

As we have explained, the route begins in the recreation area on the highway to Cape San Antonio lighthouse, on the left. There is a parking area next to the driveway, under the pine trees. The area is equipped with benches and tables in the shade, has drinking water and services (but to make use of them you must previously request the town hall from Javea). The route enters through the pine forest and the first point of reference is an old police barracks. We will continue to the left, towards the Santuari of the Mare de Deu dels Àngels. We follow the path of cypresses and we arrive at the place of the mills.

We will return to the recreational area down the street Penàguila, up to the Cuesta del Cabo San Antonio. We will find the road to the cape again, cross it and following the path in front we will return to the starting point.

La distance of the route is 4,5 kilometers and has a duration estimated 1 hour and 30 minutes. The difficulty of the itinerary is baja.
