A total of 17 vessels will participate this Saturday in the "XIV Fishing Championship at Currycane"Organized by the sport fishing section of Club Nautico de Javea.
It is one of the annual appointments of all sports fishing enthusiasts in the region and the rest of the province, and proof of this is that boats from many provincial ports have registered. But undoubtedly, Xàbia, Dénia and Moraira are the ones that provide the most boats.
Among the participants in the weekend test, there are the Sivera brothers boat patrons "Blaucat", who won the first place last year, as well as Antonio Roselló with the ship"spark 2"and Cristóbal Miravet, patron of the" Trompellot "that in different years have achieved the championship of Spain in the category of sport fishing currycane.
The presentation of the championship will be on Friday with the meeting 23 pattern in which the last instructions will be given to all participants, and then there will be a welcome dinner at the restaurant of the Club for all of them.
At 8: 00 hours on Saturday the boats will leave the Yacht Club to start fishing and the return is scheduled for the 17: 00 hours, then the catches will be weighed by a judge of the Federation and trophies will be handed out, approximately to the 18: 30 hours.
