The latest update of data on the situation of the coronavirus by municipalities provided by the Ministry of Health registers an increase in infections in Xàbia, being the population that has added the greatest number with respect to the figures of the previous day (October 8) in the that this locality did not count any positive.
According to the figures provided today, Tuesday, referring to yesterday (October 12), the Marina Alta registers 8 new infections, of which 3 correspond to the town of Xabiera. With this update, Xàbia accumulates 157 infections since last March and three deaths.
Overall, the Dénia Health Department counts a total of 1370 PCR positives since the beginning of the pandemic and 29 deaths, a figure that has been maintained since last week in which one death was recorded.
