These materials easily deteriorate in the increasingly frequent episodes of intense rains, which is a problem for residents' access and expense for the administration. That is why from Xàbia it was already requested in the last governing board of the Montgó natural park that some more resistant material be authorized. The intention, according to Mata, is to test some type of stabilizer material that is compatible with environmental protection and compacts the dirt roads and gives them greater hardness to see how they resist in case of rain. At the same time, work will be done with the park to promote legislative changes that allow other materials in this area.
