The average price of second-hand housing in Spain in the month of March 2023 was 2.016 euros per square meter, according to the quarterly report on sales prices from pisos.com. A figure that represents an increase of 1,62% compared to December 2022.
Even so, the price of housing in Xàbia per square meter exceeds that average. According to the analysis of the municipalities carried out by the platform, the price per square meter in this town in February 2023 was 2.619 euros/m2, while in March it dropped slightly to 2.540 euros/m2.
This data places Xàbia as one of the Spanish municipalities that has registered one of the largest quarterly decreases with -8,70% compared to 2022 and -16,09% according to the annual variation.
Even so, the price of second-hand housing seems to continue to be oblivious to the new mortgage reality.
