The new update of data from the Ministry of Health on the evolution of the coronavirus in municipalities shows a clear decrease in infections in the Marina Alta region. In the last four days, the Dénia health department has registered 11 positives compared to 28 the previous day.
The most negative part of this update focuses on Xàbia, one of the 5 populations that has registered the most cases in this update today, adding 5 new cases, which is practically half of the total.
Currently, Xàbia has 18 active cases. Thus, the cumulative incidence stands at 64,25 cases per 100.000 inhabitants, well above the average incidence in the region, which is 37,51 cases per 100.000 inhabitants. Xàbia remains at medium risk of contagion.
